Reading Shape-Up is easy-to-use reading software that contains tutorials on specific reading skills followed by short reading selections. The program improves specific skills of reading comprehension, while providing teachers with measurable results.

The software promotes expansion of vocabulary and pinpoints many troublesome topics of reading comprehension. Students work on sequence, main idea, fact-opinion, factual recall, and inference.

After an assessment, students focus on specific skills, and work in a mixed practice format that includes crossword puzzles and two-answer questions. They receive help and contextual feedback.

Students are able to track their progress and print results. Students’ scores are kept in a record management system that allows teachers to view and print reports.

Designed for students in U.S. grades 4 through 8 (age 8 and up), the program can also be used by ESL and adult students interested in improving their reading skills.

Each set contains 144 passages and 302 questions.
Contextual help and feedback will engage students of all ages.
Reward animations and sounds do not contain juvenile graphics.
